Education Partners

  • Illinois State University

    CIIB and Illinois State University’s Eckelmann-Taylor Speech and Hearing Clinic↗️ partner to provide valuable on-site diagnostic audiology exams for CIIB’s vestibular patients while providing ISU graduate students real-world, hands-on clinical experience in our specialized healthcare facility.

    CIIB also welcomes undergraduate interns from the ISU School of Kinesiology and Recreation.↗️ This partnership provides students preparing for careers in exercise science, personal training, physical therapy, and occupational therapy with real-world experience in our diverse specialty outpatient rehab and diagnostic testing center.

  • Heartland Community College

    CIIB works closely with Heartland Community College’s Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) program↗️ as a clinical site for PTA students during their field rotations.

    CIIB’s founder and CEO Poonam McAllister, PT serves on the board of the PTA program from which several CIIB employees have graduated.

    CIIB also sponsors HCC fundraising efforts that support student scholarships and academic programs, including the PTA program.
